Ash is an artist, death doula, and land-worker who creates sacred spaces for reflection and transformation.
They create altars, earth-works, temples, grief gardens, labyrinths, end of life vigils, ceremonies, sculptures, diagrams, paintings, and earth-works.
Ash has spent over a decade designing for human interaction- architecting interactive systems, conducting human-centered research, developing university curriculum on the principles of spatial design, and developing interactive exhibitions and object-oriented learning environments. Their work brings synthesis to complex structures within relational paradigms- be they human, digital, material, or spiritual in nature.
She is guided by the relationship between what contains us and what we contain, what feeds us and what we feed, and the physical and energetic portals through which we are invited to shape-shift and change form.
Ash is one half of Fruits of Time Design House, where they collaborate with their partner Moth Snow to create sacred spaces and objects for life’s threshold moments.
In 2024, she founded CHANNEL, a podcast for facilitating conversations on the spiritual nature of creative practice.
She currently resides in Kingston, New York.
